About

Hi there! We’re Sara and Nick, native Wisconsinites and college sweethearts married since 2005. We've called Washington, D.C. our home for the past 16 years.

In 2014, we took sailing lessons and purchased our first boat, Houd Vast, a 2014 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 379. She was an ideal coastal cruiser for growing our sea legs and sailing skills, and we enjoyed many weekends exploring the Chesapeake Bay.

In December 2017, we purchased our second boat, a 2005 Hallberg-Rassy 37, Borealis.

In October 2018, we quit our Washington, D.C., jobs and sold our home to sail the open ocean. And now the adventure continues.
